Apocalypse mushroom

I have a reoccurring dream where I go out and discover at least one new species of plant or mushroom. In this dream, I discovered a mushroom that sort of resembled an orchid in size & shape, and after some research, I learned that this was a rare type of mushroom commonly referred to as the "Apocalypse Mushroom". It only grows in cities and other highly-populated areas when there are no humans around to disturb its growth. The last time the streets were empty enough that it could be seen growing was on 9/11.
