I was strolling down Boulevard Saint Germain, in Paris, and I stopped at the menu of the famous Café de Flore. As I read the price of an expresso, I told myself 'It's not that expensive after all', and decided to go in. Everything went fine, except that, when I was supposed to pay the bill, the cashier asked for 1.50 euros instead of the 1.25 that was written on the menu. An endless and exhausting quarrel started between me and the cashier, ending in him telling me: 'You know what, if you struggle with 25 cents, perhaps this is not the café for you'. At this phrase, I ostensibly licked my hand, pulled out 25 cents of my wallet, and told him as I was handing them to him: 'By the way I have the virus, you classist a**hole'.
